Dance is the secret language of the soul and an art of responding to the music. It is the powerful way of expressing yourself, share your enthusiasm, and take right actions towards your dreams. Dance just not involves your feet, but your creative vision, focus, and passion.

Dance is Love

Dancing is a tradition which has been used in every happy moments, be it a wedding, a childbirth, or a romantic moment, and is a source of expressing love. Benevolent giving is an act of love. Many dance events benefit charities to help cure diseases and support places affected by natural calamities. The magic of dance always creates a smile on your loved ones.

Dance is Expression

Since action speaks more than words, dance is the best and effective medium of action for the development of independence, understanding feelings, creativity, and expressing self to others. Movement is a strong alternative to speech which can express oneself much more than words and dancing is a delightful expression to the music involving the movements of legs and toes. Human beings are emotional creatures and dance is a great tool to ride these emotions.

Dance as Profession

Passion for dance can prove to be a great career opportunity to opt as a profession in life. One can make his/her career in different dance styles like, Sattriya, Garba, Odissi, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Modern dance. Each of these dance forms have their own styles and expressions.

Sattriya: A well-known dance form of Assam, Sattriya dance is an artistic way of expressing mythological teachings to the people, and is mainly performed by male dancers.

Garba: A popular folk dance of Gujarat, Garba dance is the highlight of the Navaratri celebrations. It is performed by a group of people with sticks in a rhythmic and graceful manner.

Odissi: A devotional and classical Indian dance of Orissa, Odissi dance portrays the grace of sacred feminine. The modern form of Odissi dance is extremely technical featuring vehement footwork. The dance form takes you to the place where heaven and earth meet.

Kathak: A conventional dance form of North India, Kathak dance involves vigorous hand and feet movements, and emphasizes on expressions and poses.

Kuchipudi: A dance form originated in a village called Kuchipudi, Kuchipudi dance has its unique style since the use of eyes to express feelings and moods make it pleasant to watch and enjoy.

Modern dance: A dance style evolved in the early 20th century, Modern dance center’s more on the performer’s own interpretations instead of structured and organized steps. It allows dancers to invent their own steps that portrays their feelings and emotions.

The true expression of a person lie in its music and its dance. The moment you lose yourself in the dance and music is the moment you own them.
